During my time at Golden Key Real-Estate,
I worked closely with the business owner to design tailored solutions for their branding needs. I conducted market analysis and developed strategies for marketing and social media. I designed business cards, signboards, banners, window graphics, and other branding materials, and implemented a custom CMS.
I also created a user-friendly website, with the mobile version currently in progress. This experience showcases my ability to combine strategic planning with creative design to enhance brand presence and user engagement.
✦ Solution
The client, a real-estate agent opening a new office in the commercial area of Ulsan, South Korea, faced competition from eight similar businesses in the vicinity. The client preferred a clean and trustworthy design to stand out.
I conducted a thorough analysis of the office’s location and target audience, providing a design that met these preferences. Additionally, the client had no prior knowledge of CMS, so I explained its importance and proposed a comprehensive social media marketing strategy through detailed proposals. This ensured the client could effectively manage their online presence and engage their target audience.

Problem Statement
The client, a real estate agent in Ulsan, faced tough competition from eight local businesses. The challenge was to guide them from their preference for bold designs to a clean, trustworthy look, despite their lack of experience with CMS and social media marketing, crucial for their online presence.
2.
User Research
For user research, I examined nearby real estate offices to understand their high search rankings and the need for detailed information. I also analyzed local demographics and competitor designs, creating user personas to guide the website design for potential buyers.
3.
functional design
I created a style guide for consistent branding, designed user flows for a seamless experience, and used Figma to develop interactive prototypes and a responsive website design for Golden Key Real Estate.

01. Branding
WHAT MAKES OUR BRAND DIFFERENT?
We analyzed the signage and branding designs of real estate offices near the client’s office.
We found that they mainly use bold colors like red and pink. To create a strong contrast with them, we chose complementary colors for the client’s branding that also convey trust and warmth.

Name Card Design
The business cards were created in two different formats at the client’s request.
Both designs feature a roof shape symbolizing a house and include the GK Real Estate Agency’s logo of a key opening a house door. In total, four business card designs were made, and the client selected two of these designs.
Signboard

Window decal
Careful consultation with the client was crucial for the design of the signboard and window decal. The client wanted the office's interior to be less visible from the outside while maintaining a clean and simple design. Additionally, they wanted to use the window immediately to the right of the entrance door to share information about existing properties with new customers through a standing TV screen. To achieve this, we designed the film with opacity, ensuring a clean look while allowing the TV screen to display information effectively.
Reflection
This project was both challenging and exciting as it involved managing various tasks from the brand proposal and style tile to printed materials and website design.
The timeline was tight due to the office opening, so I had to quickly get client approvals and arrange for the designs to be produced and used in the office.
I coordinated with a signboard company in Korea to discuss and finalize the designs and had to order other printed materials directly.
This project taught me how to work closely and efficiently, even with physical distance, making it a very interesting experience.
