Market Context

The Meditation Application Market is projected to reach USD 9.914 billion by 2025, driven by the increasing need for stress-reduction tools. The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the demand for mindfulness apps, with the market expected to expand significantly by 2031.

Challenges

" How might we create a unique and trustworthy space for individuals to practice mindfulness without fear of judgment, overcoming the barriers posed by stress and daily challenges?"

Problems

Stress from Daily Life

Many people deal with a lot of stress in their daily lives. This can harm their mental health, leading to anxiety and depression.

The stress comes from work, personal responsibilities, and trying to balance everything.

Fear of Being Judged

People often worry about being judged when they try meditation or talk about their experiences.

This fear can stop them from joining meditation groups or sharing their progress with others.

Hard to Keep Meditating Regularly

It’s tough for many people to make meditation a regular habit.

Busy schedules and a lack of motivation make it hard to meditate consistently every day.

User Persona

We created a user persona to understand user needs. This study explores challenges, preferences, and expectations to create user-centric solutions that address diverse needs, ensure privacy, and promote inclusivity.

Reflection

It was a rewarding journey for me to work on the ZenBreath project. Working closely with PMs, designers, and developers within the team, I learned the importance of clear communication, especially when delivering design details to developers.

This experience has improved my ability to present practical and actionable designs. In addition, the process of seeking feedback from various mentors helped to turn abstract ideas in my head into concrete designs, and I was able to use the results as valuable guidelines and references in the process.

My Team member's support and energy motivated us and enabled us to meet deadlines. Through connections with talented team members and mentors, I was inspired to set new goals and work steadily to achieve them. This project reinforced the value of teamwork, continuous learning, and feedback in the creative process.
