Mother's Day Flower Bar

After a previous Mother's Day activation drove just 2 social tags despite a free penthouse-night giveaway, I diagnosed the incentive model as the problem. A 2-winner structure gave most guests no reason to participate.

Concept and leftover FIFA materials were already handed off by the manager and GM. The open problem was translating that into an actual physical display

Reflection

This job taught me how to work with departments I don't manage. My manager modelled how to loop in banquet, housekeeping, and sales before finalizing anything guest-facing, whether that was sourcing flowers for Mother's Day or pulling menu content from the Club Lounge team. I learned the same lesson outside the hotel too, coordinating with other companies at Surrey Fusion Festival meant working around their timelines and priorities, not just mine. None of that shows up as a metric, but it's the part of the job that actually made these activations possible.
